The title, of course, does not refer to pregnancy. Hopefully it's not the last baby. At least I hope not. But then again, I'm not the one feeling sick 24/7... I don't know how Jamie would feel about a repeat...But last night, we hit a new first. Jamie's ongoing nausea finally led her to... well... toss the cookies? She felt better afterwards, but hopefully she won't have to do that so often. It can't be fun...
Thought you'd all want to know... And that she'd want you all to know...
She's doing a little better today, which is great...
I like reading the advice for dads on whattoexpect.com. The following is taken from the part for week seven. After reading this, it felt like someone had been spying on us. A pretty accurate description, for sure:
"Crackers and crackers, with a side of crackers. Crackers are her life right now or, at least, the mainstay of her rapidly dwindling diet. You may even find them stashed on the nightstand — ready for early morning nibbling. (Their comforting starchiness can take the edge off her nausea so she can better confront breakfast.) Word to the wise: Don't kick her out of bed for eating crackers."Yes, Jamie has crackers on the nightstand. She keeps them in a bowl of her don't-make-me-throw-up snacks. We now lovingly refer to this bowl the 'trough.'
That's all.

After saltines don't cut it anymore, little Baby Walton may want to try graham crackers or even pretzels. We are so excited for you both. Steve, are you nauseous or getting a paunch yet?
We love you!
